This helm revolves around Phalanx: it reduces the cooldown while raising the skill's damage. As a result you can summon your avatars far more often and hit harder with them, turning Phalanx from an occasional summon into a reliable damage source.

It is intended only for the Crusader, specifically Phalanx builds that use their avatars as their core offense. The open socket also lets you slot a legendary gem for extra damage or toughness. Practical tip: stack cooldown reduction on other gear pieces too, so Phalanx stays available as continuously as possible; the shorter the gap between summons, the higher your sustained damage. When rolling, favor your primary Strength and matching bonus damage.
