What the set does

This build wears Armor of Akkhan. These bonuses apply once the matching number of set pieces is equipped — the damage multiplier hangs on them, not on the individual stats of the pieces:

2 pieces: Judgment has no cooldown and gains the effect of every rune.
4 pieces: Attacks from Phalanx Avatars reduce the cooldown of Akarat's Champion by 0.5 seconds, and also apply Condemn when attacking enemies that are affected by Judgment.
6 pieces: While Akarat's Champion is active, you deal 1500% increased damage and take 50% less damage.

Torment 16 / Nephalem rifts: swaps in skills Provoke (Flee Fool), Phalanx (Bowmen), Condemn (Shattering Explosion), Laws of Hope (Wings of Angels), Akarat's Champion (Embodiment of Power); cube In-geom, Goldwrap, Squirt's Necklace, Echoing Fury; gems Boon of the Hoarder, Bane of the Powerful.
Speed farming: swaps in skills Justice (Burst), Phalanx (Bowmen), Condemn (Reciprocate), Laws of Hope (Wings of Angels); cube Tasker and Theo; gems Bane of the Powerful.

Sockets and gems

The 3 legendary gems (Bane of the Trapped, Bane of the Stricken, Enforcer) belong in the jewellery slots — that is the only place their rank counts, and the only place they keep growing when you upgrade after a Greater Rift.

The remaining 7 sockets are filled with Diamond: the multiplier already comes from the set and the legendary powers, so one more base stat does more there than another effect would.

On the season theme

Shades of the Nephalem spawns a shadow clone of your class at every shrine and pylon that fights along for one minute. Activate shrines inside the pull, not on the way there. The fourth cube slot is already filled in every variant above.
