Armor of Akkhan – the Crusader in permanent overdrive

This set turns Akarat's Champion from a brief panic button into the backbone of an entire build. While the transformation is active you deal vastly more damage and shrug off a big chunk of incoming hits – a window you can keep open almost permanently thanks to reduced cooldowns and an always-ready, fully runed Judgment. Paired with Phalanx, it forms a tidy loop of buff, condemnation and cooldown refunds.

Akkhan is built for the Crusader who enjoys an active, button-heavy rotation and wants both speed farming and deep Greater Rift pushing. Practical tip: stack cooldown reduction wherever you can so Akarat's Champion never drops. The moment it lapses, your damage and damage-reduction bonuses vanish at once and the build suddenly feels paper-thin.

Judgment with every rune

The 2-piece bonus removes Judgment's cooldown and gives it the effect of every rune at once. A single cast pulls enemies together (Mass Verdict), roots them for 10 seconds (Deliberation), cuts their damage by 40% (Debilitate), raises your chance to deal critical damage to them by 8% (Resolved) and heals you for each judged enemy (Penitence). With no cooldown left, you can judge every new pack the moment you reach it.

Phalanx sets the rhythm

The 4-piece bonus builds on that judgment: when Phalanx Avatars attack a judged target they apply Condemn, and every attack shortens the cooldown of Akarat's Champion by 0.5 seconds. With Bowmen or Bodyguard, the Avatars stay with you for a few seconds and attack repeatedly instead of charging just once.

For Akarat's Champion itself, Prophet deserves a look: 150% more armor during the transformation and a one-time full heal when you would take fatal damage. Rally cuts the remaining cooldowns of your other skills by 12 seconds on activation.

Seven pieces and the cube

The set consists of six armor pieces plus the Talisman of Akkhan amulet. Frequent cube partners are Frydehr's Wrath, Warhelm of Kassar and the Ring of Royal Grandeur.
