Amplified Gem Effect

Leoric's Crown lifts the socketed gem to a higher level and boosts its effect substantially – though legendary gems are excluded. That turns the helm into a multiplier for ordinary socketed stones and gives any class a flexible way to massively upgrade one chosen stat.

The crown is class-neutral and fits anywhere a socketed-gem effect matters. Slot an emerald and your critical hit damage climbs; a ruby boosts your raw damage, a diamond your resistances, a topaz your resistance or gold find. Tip: Decide which ordinary gem benefits your build most and put exactly that one in the crown – this extracts the maximum amplified bonus, rather than wasting a legendary gem that gains nothing here.
