This headpiece turns the tables on the undead: when an undead enemy hits you, there's a chance to briefly charm it, so it fights on your side for a few seconds instead of attacking you. Against skeletons, zombies and similar foes, that buys valuable breathing room and splits the pack against itself.

Thanks to the socket and all three primary stats, the helm slots into many builds, but it pays off most where undead enemies appear in numbers. Practical tip: treat the cowl as a situational tool, such as in undead-heavy areas – there the charm triggers often enough to keep control of the fight, while the stats and the extra gem prop up your core numbers.
