The Nemesis Bracers flip the logic of shrines and pylons: instead of merely buffing you, they also cause an enemy champion to appear. What sounds like needless risk is in truth an efficient loot and progress engine, since every elite brings additional experience, drops and, in the right modes, valuable progress.

The effect works regardless of class and is especially valuable when you are already strong enough to cut down the summoned foes quickly. Because the effect radiates, in a group the whole team benefits from every shrine someone touches. Tip: Only head for shrines when you are ready to fight, since turning a pylon into a champion means you want to deal with the resulting enemy right away rather than triggering it in an awkward spot.
