"The Mighty Bear brought low the great house of the guild with a single blow. Their greed was laid bare in the ruination." —Chronicles of the North

Sledge Fist

The Sledge Fist is all about control: every hit has a high chance to stun the enemy. For a fast Monk landing many attacks per second, that means near-constant crowd control, pinning single elites and small groups while you keep swinging.

The catch: stun alone won't win high Greater Rifts, because dense enemy masses can't all be locked down at once and the fist weapon brings no direct damage multiplier. So it's mainly for trash-heavy speed runs, levelling, or builds that want to hold enemies still for a big follow-up strike. Tip: pair it with skills that hit stunned targets extra hard, turning the crowd control into real damage rather than just a safety net.

How wide the roll spreads

The stun chance is a fixed property with a lot of room: between 30.0 and 50.0% per hit. A copy at the top end stuns considerably more often than one at the bottom, and Primal Ancient copies always sit at 50.0%. Because the chance applies anew on every hit, attack speed and multi-hit skills count twice over. The fist weapon itself performs 1.40 attacks per second.

Stats and use

It also carries a fixed 626–750 Dexterity and rolls an elemental weapon damage bonus. Only the Monk can equip Sledge Fist; it fits the main hand and, when dual wielding, the off-hand. It has no legendary power in the strict sense, since the stun sits on the weapon as a property.

The Mighty Bear

The flavor text quotes the Chronicles of the North: the Mighty Bear brought low the great house of the guild with a single blow, and the guild's greed was laid bare in the ruins.
