Pool of the item type from the game files, version 2.8.0. Skill damage bonuses only carry weight for their class. All properties of this slot
The eye of the one god blesses those who seek it out.
Stand in the right circle
The Oculus Ring rewards attentive positioning: killing an enemy can spawn an area of focused power in which you deal massively more damage. Anyone standing inside that circle strikes noticeably harder, an effect that works regardless of class and earns a place in virtually any damage-oriented build.
Especially in dense fights with many dying enemies these zones appear frequently, so you can carry an advantage almost constantly if you reposition correctly. In groups the ring even becomes a team contribution, since your allies benefit from the same circle. Tip: React deliberately when the zone pops up and step into it before unleashing your strongest attacks — that small side-step can raise your peak damage considerably.
No kills, no zone
The damage bonus inside the circle rolls between 70 and 85%. Primal Ancient copies always carry the full 85%, and the tooltip's 82% is close to the maximum. The zone is triggered only by kills, and even then only with a chance the tooltip does not quantify. The consequence: against a lone enemy with no other enemies around, no new zones appear because nothing dies. The ring thrives on enemies falling around you.
The socket stays on your finger
The ring's zone power can be moved into the jewelry slot of Kanai's Cube. Only the power itself works there - the ring's fixed socket, which would otherwise hold a gem, does not come along into the cube. On your finger you get both, but it takes up a ring slot. The ring has no other fixed stats.
The eye that blesses
Since the tooltip refers to characters standing in the area, your allies benefit too in group play. The name echoes the flavor text: oculus means eye, and the text says the eye of the one god blesses those who seek it out. Applied to the power: whoever seeks out the circle and steps into it is rewarded.
