Quiet Retribution in the Background

The Band of Hollow Whispers joins the fight entirely on its own: at irregular intervals it haunts enemies near you and deals damage without you having to cast a single skill. Because this effect simply ticks away in the background, the ring is more of a pleasant bonus than the foundation of any build.

Thanks to its three main-stat rolls it fits any class, since you always benefit from whichever value your hero uses. In the endgame, however, you will rarely want to trade it for specialized rings that carry real build mechanics. Tip: Treat it as transitional gear while leveling, or as a fun extra for relaxed runs, and only hold on to it if the stat values happen to line up perfectly with your character.
