Pool of the item type from the game files, version 2.8.0. Skill damage bonuses only carry weight for their class. All properties of this slot
The Peace Warder Radaugh was a singular being who had the powers of time itself at his command. Unfortunately, this frequently left him in a befuddled state, allowing the upstart cultist Vess to kill him and take the prized Crown of the Primus for his own.
Every Rune for Slow Time
Crown of the Primus turns the Slow Time skill into a versatile multitool: it gains the effects of nearly every rune at once, and the slowing bubble follows you instead of staying fixed in place. For the Wizard that means a constantly traveling zone that hampers enemies while handing you the bundled benefits of several runes.
The hat is the basis for builds that use Slow Time as a permanent control and support skill. Because the bubble follows you, you can push aggressively through enemy groups without leaving your slowing zone behind. Keep the effect active as continuously as possible so you make the most of the combined rune bonuses - from slowing to protection - in every phase of the fight.
Which Rune Effects the Bubble Combines
According to the power, Slow Time gains every rune except Point of No Return, so the stun on entering or leaving is missing. Active at the same time are:
- Time Warp: enemies in the bubble take 15% more damage.
- Exhaustion: affected enemies deal 25% less damage.
- Time Shell: the movement slow rises to 80% and the cooldown drops from 15 to 12 seconds.
- Stretch Time: allies inside attack 10% faster.
The base skill adds its own effects on top, reducing enemy attack speed by 20% and the speed of enemy projectiles by 90%.
Hat or Cube
The crown can be activated in the armor slot of Kanai's Cube, leaving the head slot free for another hat. Worn directly, it brings a fixed socket and a main stat at 626–750; as a Wizard you need Intelligence. Critical hit chance, Arcane Power on critical hit or a Meteor damage bonus are further worthwhile rolls.
It is often combined with Squirt's Necklace, Ashnagarr's Blood Bracer, Convention of Elements, Halo of Karini and Unity. The flavor text tells of the Peace Warder Radaugh, who commanded time itself but was frequently befuddled by it, which let the upstart cultist Vess kill him and claim the crown.
