Season 39 builds🌑 Shadows of the Past
The core theme of Season 39 — first seen in Season 22, now back.
Shrines become allies
Every shrine and pylon you activate spawns a shadow clone of your own class that fights at your side.
Three fixed builds
The clone's build is picked at random from three presets per class — which shadow shows up is not up to you.
One minute of backup
The clone lasts one minute, or until your character dies. After that you need the next shrine.
Scales with you
The shadow's power scales with your character — the stronger you get, the harder your shadow hits.
🧊 Kanai's Cube: the fourth slot
The second major addition of the season — more creative freedom for your builds.
In Season 39 Kanai's Cube has an additional fourth slot. It offers the same choices as the first three slots.
Important: the fourth slot cannot be stacked with the first three — running the same power twice gains you nothing.

Kill every boss at max level on Torment X in under twenty minutes.
Gem Hunter / Superhuman
Complete a level 45 Greater Rift solo without a single set item equipped.
Master of All / Game, Set and Match
Complete eight different Set Dungeons at Mastery rank.

If the Season Journey has not yet earned you five stash tabs, these Conqueror-tier objectives unlock another one.
- Complete a level 70 Nephalem Rift within five minutes on Torment XIII.
- Level three legendary gems to rank 55.
- Complete two achievements this season.
- Kill Malthael at level 70 on Torment XIII in one minute and 30 seconds.
- Kill Greed on Torment XIII.
- Reach a level 60 Greater Rift solo.
- Use Kanai's Cube to augment an ancient legendary item with a rank 50+ gem.
- Use Kanai's Cube to reforge a legendary item.
✨ Cosmetic rewards
Returning rewards from Season 15 onward plus two new items for finishing the journey.
Belphegor
A pet that travels across Sanctuary with you as the keeper of your coins.

New pet for everyone who completes the entire Season Journey.

Conqueror's Set & portrait frames
The chest and glove slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set plus portrait frames themed around the Eternal Conflict.
