This staff gives your hits a chance to charm enemies: a charmed foe temporarily fights on your side and turns on its former allies. That not only grants you an extra combatant but also sows chaos in the enemy ranks.

Since the effect simply triggers on hitting, the staff suits heroes who attack often and across areas, such as channeling or rapid-firing spell builds. Every charmed enemy is one fewer foe attacking you and, at the same time, extra damage against the rest of the pack. My tip: use the staff in situations with many enemies, because the denser the crowd, the more valuable each turned combatant becomes for your control over the fight.
