More value from every element

The Primordial Soul strengthens Wizards who juggle different damage types: it raises the damage bonus of the passive Elemental Exposure, so each element strikes even more emphatically once you have applied it to an enemy. The orb thus becomes an amplifier for multi-element builds that already alternate fire, cold, lightning, and arcane.

The appeal lies in keeping as many damage types running as possible, since each additional component applied increases your overall damage. Anyone already using the passive gets noticeably more out of it with this orb. Tip: Pick skills or runes that cover different elements and deploy them deliberately in sequence, keeping the heightened bonus active across as many damage types at once as possible to exploit the full multiplier.

10% per stack - and only with the passive

According to the power text, Elemental Exposure's damage bonus per stack rises to 10%. The value is fixed and does not roll, so every Primordial Soul delivers the same power. The prerequisite matters: the power only modifies the passive. Without Elemental Exposure selected, all that remains of the source is its stat package. The orb is exclusive to the Wizard.

A fixed stat package

All three properties are predetermined: +626–750 Intelligence, Critical Hit Chance Increased by 8–10% and a damage bonus of +(262–328)–(263–394). Two copies therefore differ only in how high these values roll; a primal ancient drop carries the maximum everywhere. Since there is no random property, the Mystic is the only way to adjust the profile - she can re-enchant one of the three properties.

In practice, plan your skill bar so that several elements hit the same enemies regularly instead of limiting yourself to a single element.
