Spiders That Bite Ever Harder
The Brood of Araneae is a belt for Witch Doctors who love their Corpse Spiders. It first boosts their base damage considerably and then layers a building effect on top: every spider bite increases the damage the target takes from your Corpse Spiders for a few seconds. The longer your spiders gnaw on a foe, the more devastating their bite becomes.
That is why the belt shines against tankier targets like bosses and elites, where the stacking effect can build undisturbed. Against short-lived trash mobs it barely gets going. My tip: make sure a steady stream of Corpse Spiders bites your main target rather than spreading your damage across many enemies - focusing on one target feeds the growing damage bonus best.
