This one-handed axe occasionally summons a ghostly Fallen champion to fight for you when you attack. The companion appears at random and takes on extra damage duty for a short while, which adds a bit of pressure in dense packs. Since the effect is not tied to any particular class, almost any hero can make use of it.

In modern endgame progression, though, the axe remains more of a charming collector's weapon than a build foundation, because the summoned champion offers no reliably predictable damage. Practical tip: if you want the effect, drop it into Kanai's Cube to keep the summon as a bit of flavor without sacrificing a valuable gear slot.
