The Blood Brother unites defense with offense: the sword grants you a chance to block enemy attacks, with blocked hits dealing significantly less damage. Right after a successful block, your next attack strikes with noticeably increased damage. This way the weapon turns every parried blow into a small damage bonus.

Since the effect works regardless of class, the sword fits any hero who wields a two-handed weapon and likes fighting in the thick of it. Tip: Deliberately stand in the way of attacks instead of dodging them so the block triggers as often as possible and you regularly pocket the damage bonus. In dense fights where hits constantly rain down on you, this creates a pleasant rhythm of damage mitigation and amplified counterstrike.
