Slow Time
Slow Time drops a bubble at the target location that bends space and time. Enemies inside move and attack much slower, and incoming projectiles slow to a crawl. That makes it one of your strongest defensive tools, especially against ranged attackers and fast-moving packs. In practice you place the bubble over a dense cluster or an elite group, then fight safely from within the protected zone and use the breathing room to deal damage without risk.
The Time Warp rune is a strong offensive pick, since trapped enemies take extra damage and your DPS window grows noticeably. More defensive builds favor Time Shell, which strengthens the slow and lowers the cooldown so the bubble stays up almost constantly. This lets you combine control and safety without sacrificing your main attacks.
Time Shell, Time Warp and the other runes
Slow Time unlocks at level 16: a bubble up to 60 yards away lasting 15 seconds that cuts enemy attack speed by 20%, movement speed by 60% and projectile speed by 90%. Since cooldown and duration are both 15 seconds, even the base version can stay up without gaps. Time Shell (level 23) lowers the cooldown to 12 seconds and slows by 80%, and Exhaustion (level 29) cuts enemy damage by 25%. Time Warp (level 39) makes enemies take 15% more damage, Point of No Return (level 47) stuns enemies entering or leaving for 5 seconds, and Stretch Time (level 53) gives allies inside 10% attack speed. Time Shell and Time Warp share the picks in practice.
Crown, wand and Delsere's Magnum Opus
The helm Crown of the Primus grants every rune except Point of No Return and makes the bubble follow you. The wand Gesture of Orpheus lowers the cooldown by 30–40%. In Delsere's Magnum Opus, hits from certain spells cast Slow Time themselves, and Teleport's cooldown resets inside your bubbles. The 4-piece bonus cuts damage taken by 75% while a bubble is active, and the 6-piece bonus raises the set spells' damage against affected enemies by 20,000%.
Arcane Torrent, Illusionist and more partners
Arcane Torrent is one of the spells that spawns bubbles with the set. The passive Illusionist resets the cooldown after heavy hits. Magic Weapon, Storm Armor, Audacity, Galvanizing Ward and Unstable Anomaly are other frequent partners.
