The Spear of Jairo is a Necromancer weapon for Thorns builds: every enemy you tag with one of your curses raises your Thorns damage, and the bonus stacks with each additional cursed foe. It fuses two classic Necromancer elements - curses and retaliation damage - into one package that blossoms in dense enemy masses.

For a Thorns-heavy Necromancer this spear is therefore a central tool, since it rewards you for cursing as many enemies at once as possible. Tip: use a wide-area curse to hit many foes in a single cast and stack the Thorns bonus quickly. Make sure the rest of your gear also leans into Thorns damage, or the weapon's biggest advantage goes to waste.
