Favored weapon of the angelic Host.

Skywarden

The Skywarden is a Crusader-only two-handed mace with an unusual effect: at a steady interval you keep gaining a random Law for a limited time. Since Laws are signature Crusader skills, this weapon hands you ever-changing buffs without you having to cast them yourself.

Because the Law is chosen at random, you can't rely on any specific effect, which makes the mace unreliable for focused push builds. It's stronger in playful setups or while levelling, where the free buff is simply a nice bonus. Tip: if you already run a Law-heavy Crusader, the Skywarden can keep one of your active Laws up for free, freeing a skill slot for something else.

A seamless rhythm

The power's numbers mesh exactly: every 60 seconds you gain a Law, and each one lasts 60 seconds. As soon as one expires, the next arrives - so in practice you always have an extra Law active, just not always the same one. There is no roll range; every Skywarden runs on this rhythm. You can't influence which Law you get, but you can pick your own Laws so that any random addition remains a bonus.

What to look for on the mace

Every copy carries Holy Damage of +1,177–1,439 to 1,410–1,788 as weapon damage. It also rolls a main stat at 946 to 1125 points; for a Crusader, Strength is what counts, and with a different attribute the mace is of little use to you. A Primal Ancient has the maximum on every stat. As a two-handed weapon, the Skywarden takes up both hands.

The weapon of angels

The flavor text is brief: the Skywarden is the favored weapon of the angelic Host. The fixed Holy damage on the mace suits that origin.
