Grace of Inarius

Grace of Inarius is one of the Necromancer's core sets and revolves entirely around Bone Armor. Its earlier bonuses amplify that skill's damage enormously and grant growing damage reduction for every enemy you strike. The capstone bonus makes Bone Armor additionally spawn a whirlwind of bone that batters nearby foes and dramatically increases the damage they take from you.

The result is a classic melee Necromancer who stands in the thick of the fight, shields himself, and grinds large packs through a churning storm of bone. It plays pleasantly sturdy and suits players who would rather brawl inside the crowd than poke from afar. A practical tip: prioritize a short Bone Armor cooldown and solid area damage, so the whirlwind stays active at all times and the amplification effect never lapses.

Bone Armor by the numbers

Without the set, Bone Armor deals 125% weapon damage, lasts 60 seconds, has a 10-second cooldown and reduces damage taken by 3% per enemy hit, up to 10 enemies. The 2-piece bonus raises its damage by 1000%, and the 4-piece bonus adds another 3% damage reduction per enemy hit. The more enemies you catch with the cast, the tougher you get – a good reason to trigger the armor in the middle of a pack.

The 6-piece bonus adds a swirling tornado of bone that deals 1000% weapon damage to nearby enemies and, above all, increases the damage they take from the Necromancer by 19,000%.

Comparing the runes

Vengeful Armaments raises the base damage to 145%. Dislocation stuns enemies hit for 2 seconds and converts the damage to Poison, while Harvest of Anguish converts it to Cold and grants 1% movement speed per enemy hit. Thy Flesh Sustained costs 20% Life and increases your Life per Second by 10% per target hit. Limited Immunity, by contrast, fits the set poorly: the armor then lasts only 5 seconds on a 45-second cooldown.

Common combinations

In Kanai's Cube, Inarius is frequently played with Bloodtide Blade, the Ring of Royal Grandeur, Scythe of the Cycle and Steuart's Greaves.
