What the set does
This build wears Thorns of the Invoker. These bonuses apply once the matching number of set pieces is equipped — the damage multiplier hangs on them, not on the individual stats of the pieces:
- 2 pieces: Your Thorns damage now hits all enemies in a 15 yard radius around you. Each time you hit an enemy with Punish, Slash, or block an attack your Thorns is increased by 90% for 2 seconds. This effect stacks up to 10 times.
- 4 pieces: You take 50% less damage for 20 seconds after damaging an enemy with Bombardment.
- 6 pieces: The attack speed of Punish and Slash are increased by 100% and deal 67,500% of your Thorns damage.
Sockets and gems
The 3 legendary gems (Bane of the Trapped, Bane of the Stricken, Boyarsky's Chip) belong in the jewellery slots (rings and amulet). Urshi can upgrade them after a Greater Rift whether they are socketed, in your inventory or in your stash.
The remaining 7 sockets are filled with regular gems: Diamond (6) and Topaz (1).
On the season theme
In Season 40, Angelic Crucibles sanctify a legendary item: perfect Ancient-level stats plus one of three powers of your class at random. You can only wear one Sanctified item at a time. None of your class's three powers boosts a skill of this build directly. The Fist of the Heavens power works regardless of your skill bar. This build sanctifies The Traveler's Pledge, marked in the gear above. Since the power is rolled at random, a Sanctified item can be sanctified again with another Crucible.
