Bloodthirst

Bloodthirst turns your Fury spending into self-healing: every point you spend restores life, and the healed amount also scales with your bonus to health globe healing. That makes the passive a simple but effective form of sustain for builds that already burn plenty of Fury.

Its value depends directly on how much Fury you actually convert. If you run a constant spender, healing trickles in steadily and keeps you stable in the thick of a fight. If you barely use Fury or prefer other healing sources, Bloodthirst gives little back. It pays off most as a reliable sustain tool in aggressive, Fury-hungry playstyles.

Healing per Fury point, not per hit

Bloodthirst heals 966 Life for every point of Fury spent, increased by 1% of your Health Globe Healing Bonus. What counts is only the amount of Fury you spend, not how many enemies you hit or how much damage you deal. An expensive attack heals more than a cheap one, while moments in which you only generate Fury or move around bring no healing. You can pick Bloodthirst from level 24.

Big spending, big healing

This becomes most obvious with skills that spend a lot of Fury at once. Seismic Slam's Rumble rune, for example, spends all remaining Fury, and with Bloodthirst that turns into a large burst of healing as well. Regularly cast spenders such as Hammer of the Ancients provide a steady flow of healing as long as enough Fury keeps coming in.

A conflict with Berserker Rage

Berserker Rage rewards a nearly full Fury bar, while Bloodthirst rewards spending. The two passives pull in opposite directions: the more consistently you spend Fury, the less often Berserker Rage's bonus applies. Decide deliberately which behavior your rotation should reward.
