The Legacy of Raekor

The Legacy of Raekor

This Barbarian set fuses Furious Charge with Ancient Spear into a mobile, explosive combo. When your charge hits only a single enemy, you get the charge refunded, letting you plow through packs almost nonstop. Your charge also gains every rune effect at once and strikes far harder. The climax is the empowered Ancient Spear: after ramming foes with Furious Charge or landing a Weapon Throw, your next spear splits into multiple shafts and unloads the banked stacks in one strike.

The playstyle is a rhythm of charging to build stacks and timed spear throws to spend them. Lean deliberately into your missing health as a damage lever, and dump full stacks only on tanky targets or dense groups for maximum effect.

Furious Charge with every rune

Without the set, Furious Charge gains a single charge every 10 seconds. The 4-piece bonus gives it every rune plus 1000% increased damage – so you combine up to 3 charges (Dreadnought), 10 extra Fury per enemy hit (Stamina), a 2.5-second freeze (Cold Rush) and a charge time reduced by 2 seconds per enemy hit (Merciless Assault), among others. The 2-piece bonus also refunds the charge when you hit only one enemy.

Stacks for the spear

Hitting enemies with Furious Charge or Weapon Throw makes your next Ancient Spear deal 2500% increased damage thanks to the 6-piece bonus, and it releases multiple spears from its target. The effect stacks, but a single throw consumes no more than 5 stacks. On top of that, the 4-piece bonus raises spear damage by 2% for every 1% of Life you are missing.

The spear costs 25 Fury; Jagged Edge raises its base damage to 640% as Fire. For Weapon Throw, Balanced Weapon increases the Fury generated to 9 and Mighty Throw raises the damage to 400%.

Frequently paired cube powers

Next to the set, The Furnace and the Ring of Royal Grandeur land in the cube most often, followed by Stone Gauntlets and Fury of the Ancients.
