Hallowed Defenders' sturdier sibling, Hallowed Protectors follows the very same idea. Its 2-piece bonus stacks your all resistance generously while pushing your attack speed higher. That means you not only endure longer but also fire off skills and basic attacks more briskly, which pleasantly smooths out your resource flow and overall feel of play.

As a general defensive set it works regardless of class, yet it shines mainly during transition phases when the specialized build sets are still out of reach. In demanding endgame content it gives way to the major class sets, which bundle far more damage and protection. A practical tip: pair the two pieces with gear that carries strong life regeneration or your main stat, so speed and toughness complement each other nicely for relaxed farming on lower tiers.

The bonus and choosing your pieces

Two pieces grant +100 resistance to all elements and 10.0% attack speed; there are no further tiers. Seven pieces are available, each a different type: Hallowed Barricade (shield), Hallowed Baton (wand), Hallowed Breach (axe), Hallowed Condemnation (hand crossbow), Hallowed Hold (fist weapon), Hallowed Nemesis (mighty weapon) and Hallowed Sufferance (ceremonial knife). Since you only have two hands, you never wear more than two at once – exactly as many as the bonus asks for.

Which combination works depends on the weapon types your class is allowed to wield.

Protectors or Defenders?

Hallowed Defenders is built the same way but weaker, and its pieces – Hallowed Defender, Hallowed Scepter, Hallowed Storm and the rest – do not count here. Only items labeled Hallowed Protectors in the tooltip contribute to this bonus.
