Blizzard added Diablo III to Game Pass — and not just the base game, but together with the 'Reaper of Souls' expansion.
What is included
The package covers the full action RPG with every class from the base game and the expansion: Demon Hunter, Monk, Crusader, Witch Doctor, Barbarian and Wizard. The campaign runs across all of Sanctuary — from Khanduras through Khejistan to the Realm of Terror, the High Heavens and the Fields of Slaughter.
Who should jump in
For newcomers this is the most convenient way into a game that still runs a full seasonal cycle more than a decade after release. Every season starts fresh characters from zero; the endgame consists of Nephalem Rifts, Greater Rifts and the Season Journey.
The Necromancer from the 'Rise of the Necromancer' pack is a separate expansion and not part of the Game Pass offering.
