Gameplay

The Corpse Spiders variant uses The Spider Queen's Grasp, which auto-casts Corpse Spiders and increases their damage, combined with the 6-piece Arachyr set that amplifies Spider, Locust and Firebats damage. With the Spider Queen rune you summon a crawling spider cocoon that continuously spits out spiders.

The rotation:

  • Stack Soul Harvest (Soul to Waste) to 10 stacks
  • Throw Piranhas (Piranhado) into the pack
  • Rain Corpse Spiders continuously onto grouped enemies
Keep Haunt (via Ring of Emptiness) and Piranhas constantly on enemies to secure your main multiplier and grouping. Voo's Juicer in the cube further boosts your spider damage.

Position the spider cocoon centrally in the pack - this way the continuous stream of spiders covers as many grouped enemies as possible.

Defense & Cooldowns

Defensively you rely on several layers:

  • Spirit Walk (Jaunt)
  • Horrify (Frightening Aspect)
  • Lakumba's Ornament (cube)
  • Esoteric Alteration
  • Spirit Vessel provides the cheat-death
Grave Injustice (passive) reduces your cooldowns on every enemy kill, keeping Spirit Walk and Piranhas almost permanently available.

Greater Rift Pushing

For GR pushing, position the spider cocoon centrally in the pack and use the burst windows:

  • Big Bad Voodoo (Ghost Trance) on large pulls
  • The Poison phase of Convention of Elements for the burst

  • Dagger & mojo: Corpse Spiders %
