Effect
Your shouts are:
Battle Rage
Threatening Shout
War Cry
Inspiring Presence
Inspiring Presence is a supportive passive built around your shouts: it doubles their duration and grants you and nearby allies long-lasting life regeneration after each shout. It thus pairs improved buff uptime with reliable sustain.
Its value depends directly on whether you use shouts like 'Battle Rage', 'Threatening Shout', or 'War Cry' at all. If you do, the passive is doubly appealing: your buffs last longer, and the steady healing keeps you stable in combat without costing extra slots. In groups your teammates benefit too. If you play without shouts, Inspiring Presence is useless and doesn't belong on the bar.
The regeneration in detail
After each shout you regenerate 3% of your maximum Life per second for 120 seconds – and so does every ally within 100 yards. Since a new shout restarts the regeneration each time, it is practically always active as soon as you use one of the three shouts regularly. It is not emergency healing but a steady baseline that offsets smaller hits during and between fights.
The passive unlocks at level 20, which already helps early in levelling when other healing sources are still missing.
How each shout benefits
The description names exactly three shouts:
- Battle Rage is a long-lasting buff – doubled, you need to refresh it even less often.
- War Cry raises Armor for you and your allies; the doubled duration extends that protection.
- Threatening Shout reduces the damage of nearby enemies; the longer duration keeps that debuff up for longer.
Since Threatening Shout and War Cry have comparatively short cooldowns, they make it especially easy to keep the regeneration going.
Shouts you press anyway
Some items turn shouts into a fixed part of your rotation: the two-handed mighty weapon Blade of the Tribes makes War Cry and Threatening Shout trigger Avalanche and Earthquake, and Chilanik's Chain grants extra movement speed after War Cry. If you use your shouts regularly for reasons like these, you get Inspiring Presence's regeneration on top at no extra effort.
