Effect

Gain 30 Fury when Avalanche or Earthquake is triggered.

Earthen Might

Earthen Might is a specialized Fury passive: you gain a hefty Fury boost whenever 'Avalanche' or 'Earthquake' is triggered. That ties it tightly to earth-based builds that fire these two skills regularly.

Its usefulness rises and falls with how often you actually activate those triggers. In a setup that uses 'Avalanche' and 'Earthquake' frequently, the passive provides a reliable resource resupply that funds expensive spenders. If both skills are missing from your bar, the slot does nothing. Earthen Might therefore clearly belongs in specialized earth builds and is hardly worth a thought outside of them.

How much Fury the passive provides

Every time Avalanche or Earthquake is triggered, you gain 30 Fury. It is not about damage or the number of enemies hit, only about the trigger itself. Two frequently used skills therefore mean two Fury sources that flow regardless of weapon hits.

Earthen Might only unlocks at level 64, at the end of the leveling phase.

Working with Might of the Earth

With two pieces, the Might of the Earth set reduces the cooldown of Earthquake and Avalanche by 1 second for every 30 Fury you spend with an attack. The 30 Fury from Earthen Might matches exactly one such step: every Earthquake supplies the Fury whose spending brings the next Earthquake a little closer.

Other partners

Earthquake itself tops the partner list, since without it there is no trigger. Boon of Bul-Kathos shortens Earthquake's cooldown further. Threatening Shout and War Cry also generate Fury when used, while lowering enemy damage or raising your Armor respectively. Wrath of the Berserker and Rampage handle offense, while Earthen Might makes sure enough Fury is on hand for expensive spenders.
