Might of the Earth

Might of the Earth is a thunderous Barbarian set built around earth-bound skills such as Earthquake, Avalanche, Leap, and Ground Stomp. The first bonus trims their cooldowns the more Fury you spend with an attack, so your heavy abilities come back up in rapid succession. The middle bonus turns Leap into a crushing landing strike, while the capstone lifts the damage of your entire earth toolkit to staggering heights.

In play this yields a powerful melee bruiser who hops between packs, triggers quakes on impact, and buries whole crowds beneath him. The set feels heavy and concussive, rewarding bold dives into the fray. A practical tip: bank plenty of Fury and dump it into your expensive earth skills, since the cooldown bonus scales directly with the resource you spend. That keeps you in a constant barrage and makes the most of the enormous damage bonus.

What one second of cooldown costs

The 2-piece bonus removes 1 second of cooldown for every 30 Fury a single attack spends. Seismic Slam costs exactly those 30 Fury, Ancient Spear costs 25. The runes Rumble and Boulder Toss, on the other hand, consume all your remaining Fury at once. Avalanche also brings its own reduction – 1 second per 25 Fury spent, or per 15 Fury with the Lahar rune.

Leap and Earthquake up close

Thanks to the 4-piece bonus, every landing triggers an Earthquake, and Leap gains the effect of Iron Impact – normally 150% bonus armor for 4 seconds, here increased by 150% in both strength and duration. That makes you especially sturdy exactly when you jump into a pack. Leap's own rune slot stays free for Call of Arreat (16-yard radius, pulls enemies in) or Death from Above with a 100% chance to stun.

For Earthquake, the options range from Molten Fury at 6000% weapon damage through Giant's Stride, whose 20 aftershocks follow your movement, to Cave-In, which drags in enemies from 24 yards.
